Like the transparency in the menu drop downs. Not sure about the color scheme.

I think I'll wait for you to get back from the eye doctor and fix that ugly P.O.S. before I download it. The preview alone tells me that it's in the running for the worst theme ever created, and probably has a sizable lead.

wow, that's probably the least constructive comment I've ever read on any board ever! Such a dick move, MacDog.

while the colors aren't to my liking, creating a theme is not easy for everyone and those who complain about them, but never made one themselves, should try.

although, i haven't tried it...good job dave.

zowie! my eyes - - - yes
but there are risks here.

DaveV1.0: take the harshness and work with it. You are trying some new, now refine it and make it something people will want to use. You can start with the nav buttons. The bevels that lead into the nav buttons are not sharp enough to hold the attention all the way around. What is supposed to be the highlight along the bottom is lost on the flat face of the panel, you need distinction between them or it doesn't work. talk to Swiz, he does this very well and subtle - which is what it looks like you were trying to do. oh and change the shape of the buttons this theme needs something other than the square ones.

Forget the color scheme comments - keep it as is. If you read the comments in this place you will never be able to please everyone.

Regarding the theme being capable of being used in a professional environment without being distracting in anyway:

W3C has a pending algorithm for determining how well two colors match from a readability point-of-view.

You can apply this to buttons and icons as well.
