Hey I use my G4 tower for video editing and I was wondering what is the easiest, cheapest, or best way to connect my machine to a television (just standard 12" set nothing fancy)
so I could see how my video will look on a TV BEFORE I export/encode the DVD that I am burning it onto.

My computer specs are

867MHz G4 Quicksilver
Radeon 9000
896 MB RAM

You will need a DV camera.

Connect the DV camera to Mac via Firewire.

Set video making software to playback through Firewire.

Connect DV camera to TV via inputs.

Watch.

A miniDV deck'll work too.

This page seems to say that the Radeon 9000 has direct TV output via S-video or standard composite outputs.

Will this not work for your purposes?

AFAIK the Mac version does NOT have the S-Video Out!
Only the 8500, 9200 and 9800 cards that have this feature!
