what does this mean? "the following disk images failed to mount: messenger351.dn error -536870208.

i was trying to install messenger, but cant seem to do it.

i new so please dont get mad if this is a stupid question.

You shouldn't have to be afraid to ask questions here, we are here to help. The download was most likely corrupted. Try downloading another copy of messenger and see if that one will mount. That should fix your problem, if not, post what happened.

It maynot be the download, I ran into this problem after I got my iBook a month ago. I ended up calling Apple Tech Support and had to do a system restore.

Now I'm not sure where the problem came from, some say the problem after running some of the early updates.

well i just did a software update, the mac os 10.3.2 and this problem got fixed, i just installed the messenger without a problem. but now it takes a little bit longer for the computer to start.

That's life man... Anyway, you can try the "pixel massage procedure", (gently rubbing the screen area with the back of a finger), but don't hold your hopes too high.
