can't anybody just regiser a domain name and point it at any URL. I'm leaning towards thinking this is a hoax.

open source? i would guess

and i don't know if you can get a domain name and point to other url. But why would people want to do that? they could use iphone.com instead of iphone.org, right?

and from what i read on: http://www.macintouch.com, it is registered under cisco.
