I'm running a couple of Macs on OS 9.0.4 One of these ran out of hard disc space and kept crashing. However the total of all the files on the disc was nowhere near the discs capacity. Norton disk confirmed that the hard disc was full. So I ended up re intialising the drive and the laborious process of re-installing all the software. I now find it's filling up again.
Having looked at my other Mac a similar problem is arising with some 5 gig of info on the hard disc that I can't account for.
I run various software including Quark 4, Photoshop 5.5, Illustrator 8, MS office 98, Outlook etc..
My suspicions lie with Photoshop as this is most often used. Could it be creating files and not deleting them when quitting???
Anyone any ideas?
