Do I need to install all the software updates that came out for MacOS 9 before 9.0.4, or does 9.0.4 contain all those fixes?

not positive, but i believe it is...

this is the game that moves as you play, so it behooves everyone to stay directly on top of changes as they occur.

if this is too troublesome or a bother to keep up with the fastest moving/evolving issues this world has ever seen (computer tech), well then... what can i say...

It all depends on your hardware and current OS.
It doesn't include DVD 2.2, Quicktime 4.1.1, Game Sprockets 1.7.3, and maybe one or two others.
After you install, run the software update control panel and it will list anything else you need.

Really Scott? I've tried using SU to update my software, but it never find anything, even when I know full well there are updates to be had.
It seems to me that the SU panel is a peice of crap.

I wouldn't go that far, but it is a tad unreliable
