hey
just wondering if there is way to make my PB stop sleeping when i close the screen so that i can for eample listen to music while having it in my bag

Go to www.versiontracker.com and do a search for NoSleep. I saw that utility on there for that exact purpose.

'NoSleep' doesnt work if you have the latest version of mac osx.
Try 'sleepless' instead. http://www.alxsoft.com/mac/sleepless.html

I wouldn't really recommend carrying your powerbook around while it's running, especially in a backpack. The jostling may kill the hard drive.

Maybe an iPod is the right choice?

I wouldn't do that. Having a PowerBook on while it's closed, being carried around in a bag = no ventilation = really ****ing hot computer.

Just plug some bigger, non-powered speakers into your ipod.
