Your Fight Club/Celeb Deathmatch Match-ups

Who do you want to see fight each other? (Death matches allowed!)

Saddam vs. Bin Laden (To the death)

Classic duel of age and cunning versus a younger bin Laden who is tall and lanky and is very fit from walking the mountains of Afghanistan but may have a liver or kidney ailment.

I'd take Saddam because he's such an evil SOB who doesn't yield to Allah, he wants to BE a God on earth and will do anything to achieve his goal.

Who are your match ups? Death match or not?

Who do you like in my match? Why?

Batman vs. Superman

It's man vs. man in this all man battle. Will the ManOfSteel fly around and have his way with the black bat, or will Batman use some crazy ass toys (not to mention Batmobile) to take down the flying super-hero?

Only in the unabridged version.

Anyway it's a graphic novel, I believe by Frank Miller, and at some point a Really Old Batman and Older Superman get into it, and Batman hands Souperman the worst beating of his life with some mega suit that he has to plug into a street lamp to power. This all sounds rather insane, but its a pretty good book. To let you down, though, the fight ends with Old Batman having a heart attack.

If memory serves.

Tag Team:

Bush/Blair vs. Saddam/binLaden (obvious)

100% deathmatch

And the winners get to commit harakiri - just for sh1tz and giggles.

Other:

Horowitz vs. Ahmadinejhad

Coulter vs. H. Clinton

And for the heavyweight competition:

Limbaugh vs. Moore

If I change my way of living, and if I pave my streets with good times, will the mountain keep on giving…

Highlighted are my picks.

Bush/Blair because they are both younger and healthier than Saddam/Osama. But Saddam's a dirty, cunning SOB and would make it really close.

Not sure about Horowitz. My impression (without anything at all to go on but having read a few of his fine articles) is that he's a nerdy marshmallow man. Mahmoud seems to be in better shape and so he gets my pick.

I almost went for Hillary because of her experience, will to win, cunning and just plain doggedness. She KNOWS how to fight in a figurative sense. But she's old and not in as good condition as the tall younger lanky scrappy intelligent blonde. My money is on Coulter.

Rush is a big SOLID guy. Moore is a tub O goo. Rush. Every day of the week.

Pics or links, please. Need we ask?

Nevermind, I found it.

She doesn't look all that scrawny although you probably know better about her being a bitch than I do so i will say nothing.

Oops, you're a Coulter fan, then? I'm sure you know I meant it the other way 'round, and that's a pretty unflattering pic of Vanden Huevel. She's actually not bad looking, for a G*dless Communist.

On topic, I think she'd beat Coulter in a death-match, because although Coulter is on mean, nasty creature, she's underfed & probably weak.

Vanden Heuvel would be in the middle of the match and stop fighting to start a protest.

And, yes, I suppose that picture I posted does make her look like she just took a hit off a joint and she's holding it in as long as she can before exhaling.

if you're wondering who would win in a deathmatch, you can always let tekken decide.

That was a crappy comparison, she looks like she is picking a seed husk out of her teeth.

Shouldn't this political party BS be in the PL?

The thread doesn't have to be political it just has been so far. Like your TV isn't a political device unless you happen to tune into political news shows and Cspan.

Want to change the channel?

The power is yours.

Suggest a match between Simpsons characters or Bart vs Cartman.

That was awesome! Batman sooo whipped his ass.

Edit: with the help of a one-armed Green Arrow.

Ahh yes, the only thing I could add would have to be Simpsons.

How about a match between you and our other often-banned-member Rob?

My money is on Rob

You made it political the instant you said "Saddam vs. bin Laden"
