.Mac 100 FREE pics till December !!!!????

Is it me or when I subscribed didn't Apple say the 100 pictures were until December 31st ???
Now I just got an email from them saying I had until November 4th !!!!
Is it me or them ?
I can't find any original email saying Dec 31st but I do clearly remember that... Mmmmm....

they are good until dec, but you have to sign up by nov. not sure why.

Yeah, that's exactly how I remember it, and I was pretty pissed to get an email saying:
Dear iPhoto User,
Don't let your 82 free 4x6 print credits expire! They can only be used before November 06, 2002 and will expire soon.
(I already ordered 18, that's why it says '82'...)

If you go to the .mac page and click on the 100 free prints link, it says, "Activate your free prints credit for your account by Nov. 7, 2002, then order your prints by Dec. 31, 2002."

There are a couple of discussion about this over on the .Mac boards (I received the same email)
In one of the threads, someone had called Apple about this, and Apple said this was an error + that the prints were good until 12/31 as promised... we're still awaiting an official post @ this point.

It seems like these 100 free photos are for US customers only. I live in sweden and I can't get any info about them. Also the discount coupon is not that much in Sweden. I got a discount coupon for 450 swedish kronos, which is about 45 US dollars. And if I want to use the coupon I have to buy something for minimum 450 US dollars. US customers get a coupon for 100 dollars and only have to buy something for 250 dollars to use it. The .mac service is not nearly as good for non US customers, which sucks.

Ok has anyone taken a look at the shipping costs? The prints may be free but how does it cost 8 bucks to send 10 photos? I can send ten photos to california for 2 bucks, if that!
