I have no clue how to do this, so if you have the answer, a little detail would help:
I have a Mac running OS9 and would like to transfer data on it to another computer running OSX.4
How can it be done -

Yes. The OS9 is a G3 333 (Beige tower) and the OSX.4 is a new iMac G5. Thanks

if the beige does not have the added firewire card then the easiest way is to connect them with an ethernet cable and enable file sharing between the two...quick and simple.

Not sure if the Firewire in the G3 works. How does oe enable file sharing? I know that the ethernet port works.
