yeah with the virtual memory i had some odd 11.7GB available to photoshop lol. i think im just going to get a second 400GB hard drive isntead of a small fast scratch drive

Quad G5 2.5GHz
4.5GB RAM
250GB HD
36GB SATA 10,000 RPM Scratch Disk

Just wanted to throw my home machine in here (quad is at work):

Dual 2.0GHZ G5
4GB Ram
300GB External FW800 Drive as Scratch 1, Internal 250G Drive as Scratch 2
Photoshop CS2 set to 1 history state.

97 seconds.
