Hey my OSX is kinda graphite now so I was wondering what can I do to make my existing icons graphite ? Yes, that's right ! Black&White

Just how to take those colourful icons and make 'em black n' white

Thanks

System Preferences -> Universal Access -> Seeing tab -> Display: zone

Choose Black on White or White on Black. Then check the "Use grayscale" box.

Haha thanks, but that's a little too graphite for me

This is my desktop with a finder window. So I was wondering what app to use to make ONLY the icons graphite/grayscale. I kinda wanna have the "iTunes 7" scrollbars and blue hightlighting.

I don't wan't everything on my screen to be grayscale

Thanks again

Only thing I can think of is making the icons grayscale yourself using Photoshop or something similar, and then picking up an app like Candybar to implement them. That's personally what I would do.

Here's a sample of the icons I made graphite through photoshop.

But when I try and replace the icons it only shows a white document with the letters "png" inside. I've tried to convert them to .icns and still not luck

What's wrong ?

Download Pic2Icon, throw the images in there and watch their icons become the image, Get Info on the image, click the icon in the Get Info window, copy, Get Info on the app/file/whatever you want to replace, click the icon in that Get Info window, paste.

(By the way Graphite is -75% saturation, what you have there is black and white. )
