As they have in the past, some Apple Stores are repurposing their Genius Bars to accommodate holiday sales, a report notes. The spaces may be used for things such as pick-up service, or extra room for products. Conversions are only happening as dictated by individual stores' needs and shopping traffic, and Geniuses
should still be around, whether walking the floor or at tables in front of the Bars.
In some circumstances, the Bars may not be open until next month in their usual sense. Similarly, some of them may not be taking service appointments for several days next week, the Christmas holiday. The changes could potentially cause problems for people needing to troubleshoot Apple products.
