So I installed Jaguar on a 2 gig partition of a 4 gig HD. and the first thing I did was open Explorer, but I got an error message saying something about a 'Shared Carbon Library Error'

Knowing it was Carbon related, I attempted to open other Carbon Apps on my primary 10.1 partition on my 40 gig HD, and every Carbon App would not open. On previous builds they have all worked fine, but in 6C115, I'm getting the same error -_-

I think it might have something to do with my currently awkward partitioning, but this have never happened in previous builds, so I'm not sure.

See on my 4 gig HD, which is my Jaguar HD as well as my Classic HD, each given half partitioned, I also have 6C48 on the Classic partition. So I have 6C115 on my Jaguar partition, and Classic and 6C48 on my Classic partition. My Mac OS X 10.1 partition is the entirety of my 40 HD. Could this setup be the cause of my problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated ^_^

your problem is being caused by an older version of jaguar which you'd previously installed.

format the partition, install the latest build, and it'll be fixed.

The Carbon.frameworks are corrupted. You have to replace the carbon. framework with a noncurrupted one. It will fix the problem.
this is the path to the folder:
/System/Library/Frameworks/

get a new frameworks file and replace all the contents of the folder. You will have to find a copy of this file from the same build and download it and replace. The folder is write protected so you will have to either boot into root mode or use the command line.

GOOD LUCK

type this into the terminal after you download a new carbon frameworks folder and after you mount the img.

cd /System/Library/Frameworks/
sudo mv Carbon.framework Carbon.framework.corrupted
sudo ditto -rsrcFork /Volumes/Untitled/Carbon.framework Carbon.framework
sudo reboot

Where you see the word untitled type in the name of your mounted img. It will most likely be called Untitled but if not change to fit. This will fix your problem.

AND BE SURE TO REPLACE EVERYTHING INSIDE THE FRAMEWORKS FOLDER!
