We've never been a huge fan of battery cases because they tend to be so bulky that they become uncomfortable to hold, or bulge so much in our pockets that sitting down ceases to be a comfortable option. But what if there was a case that fixed these problems? Fortunately, if you've got an iPhone 6/6s or 6/6s Plus, you could take a look at the Kuke.

We've used the Kuke for four days straight at this point, and we're glad to say that it's won us over. If you're familiar with the feel of an iPhone 5c, that's what the Kuke feels like in the hand. It does make your phone thicker, but not to the point of being unmanageable. It still easily fits in both the front and back pockets of our jeans, it still fits easily in our bedside dock, and when we're holding it, is not uncomfortable in our grasp as we text away.

Putting the Kuke on and removing it is also surprisingly easy. To insert your iPhone, just line up the Lightning port with the connector inside of the Kuke case. push downward onto the port as you are also pushing the phone into the case, and your phone will effortlessly slide in. If you're looking to remove the Kuke case, just gently pop the Kuke out of the top without bending the port at the bottom too much, and then slide it upward. We had no problem taking the Kuke off of our iPhone and think that most users, provided they're not excessively rough, should also manage well.

So, now that you've got your Kuke on your phone, you should probably learn how to use it. Looking to charge your phone up? Flip your phone over and at the back of the case there will be a small button. Press the button for a just a few seconds and it will begin charging your iPhone. Pressing and holding it again will stop the charging. If you're just curious about the charge on your Kuke, a quick press will show you how much is left via the four status lights.

But how much extra battery life do you get when you use Kuke? If you've got the iPhone 6/6s version like we do, you'll score about 70% extra battery life, which works out to about 10 hours of talking time, seven more hours of Internet and app use, and eight more hours of video playback. If you've got the 6/6s Plus, you'll get about 40 percent more time, or nine hours of talking time, five of Internet and app use, and six of video playback. We think that this is fantastic, and is sure to get you through even the longest of days.

The Kuke is also a storage case in addition to a battery case. The Kuke offers 16 additional gigabytes of storage that you can access from within the Kuke app. That means you get 16GB of movies, music, pictures, documents -- basically anything that you want to put on your Kuke. If you want to transfer files from your Kuke to a computer, you can connect a Lightning cable to your Kuke and use it as a drag-and-drop Flash drive.

Where do we stand on the Kuke? We love it! It's a perfect combination of extra storage and extra battery life in a package that doesn't eat up precious pocket space. If you're in the market, you can get your own Kuke from their IndieGoGo page, there's a 16GB model for both the iPhone 6/6 Plus for $79, and a 64GB model for the 6/6 Plus $129.

Who the Kuke is geared toward:
Serial streamers, tenacious texters, and all around app addicts will be able to get both more time and more content with this case, which we think is enough to please most people.

Who the Kuke isn't going to help:
If you're biding your time and waiting for the iPhone SE, or if you're the type of person who prefers lifeproof iPhone cases, this case isn't the one for you.
