I am, but I'm on some other server. I don't know the name of it - the real popular one.

I have every other FF game but I'm not sure if this one is worth it.
How much did you end up paying and what kind of subscription prices are there?

So that's about $15 Canadian...I'd be a sucker not to buy!

(bump)

I'm two weeks into it now. Has anyone else joined the madness? It's pretty addicting...the game even warns you before entering. Like solidage, I'm on the Titan server (thanks for the world pass).

I'm curious to know whether or not anyone has joined since this thread disappeared. I'm usually on at nights so it would be fun to party, given the chance.

I'm at the point where I'm about to move to Kazham to level up (level 25 warrior / level 16 white mage). If anyone ever wants to meet up and kick ass, let me know. I'm looking to be a Paladin real soon, but I want to at least reach Rank 5 (for the airship pass) before doing so.

I'm "Jansar" and I'm on the Titan server.

There are some comments about both EverQuest 2 and Final Fantasy XI. Most people like Final Fantasy better (although you cannot customize your character as much as you can in EverQuest 2). I've been playing Final Fantasy XI a lot recently, and now have built up my characters to the following: level 30 warrior, level 30 white mage, and level 15 paladin (for now). Sme of my linkshell members helped me with Rank 5 so I now can ride the airships (kind of a cool thing to do).

If you want to join us online, let me know and I can get you a world pass that'll let you into our Titan server. Let the addiction begin! Me and my friends are making a static party so that leveling can be more fun (and easy).

I may invest in it, because it works for the MacOS. I'm thinking of building a human paladin, like what I have in Final Fantasy XI. It's too bad you can't do multiple jobs like you can in FF. However, the graphics look awesome and I really cannot wait to begin the madness! Gotta love Blizzard!

I used to play FFXI for several months. But I just didn't have the time to commit to finding the perfect party. Everyone always worried about the perfect party. WOW looks to be better with solo opportunities and easy grouping. ANd it runs on my mac, one less reason to ever power up the winblows box.

Yes, trying to find parties sucks.

That's why you need to try to form a static party.
