I'm using Microsoft's Entourage Mac application, and I set the application icon to bounce when I get new mail. However, when there's an error checking mail (I have it on auto-check), the application bounces as well. Is there a way to "uncheck" that? I don't want to have to click on the application to make the application not bounce every time the program unsuccessfully checks mail. Thanks for your help.

He probably is getting an error warning, but I think he wants to turn that off.Unfortunately, you can only control the bouncing when a new mail arrives, not when Entourage has trouble connecting.

Yeah, that really sucks. I thought that issue might have been addressed in Microsoft Office 2004. I guess not.
