Seems that Paul Thurott doesn't consider David Pogue a valid source for Mac reviews, because of his obovious bias. He notes that Pogue is "in bed with" Apple.
Pogue is in bed with Apple, and people like that shouldn't be writing for major publications, they should be writing for amateur Mac enthusiast Web sites like The Mac Observer.
This, from the guy who runs not one, but two of the largest independent Windows news sites on the Net. This, from a guy who rips Microsoft's own design elements for his own sites, to a degree that he has got to have paid for licenses personally, assuming he's not on Microsoft's payroll in the first place.
My friend, we have a pot and kettle situation here.

I just saw David Pogue on Martha Stewart this morning promoting Adobe Photoshop for Windows, so I don't know where he gets his info.
Is his name secretly "John Manzione?"
If so, it's just jealousy.
Also, please refrain from "quoting" pictures? Kind of redundant, folks.

Note the headline:
"Surprise story of the decade: Pogue just LOVES Jaguar!"
It was a review of "Panther," however. I sent an e-mail to congratulate him on his close reading of Pogue's review.
EDIT: He changed it to "Panther" after my e-mail and sent me this note:
"See, it's so close to Jaguar I could barely tell the difference."

Stupidly, he then says that Expos justifies the price all by itself, because you know, Mac users LOVE features that require using function keys, right? Riiiighht
um, no.
If you need to rationalize the expenditure, remember that Panther comes with iChat AV (normally $30), Apple's terrific video and audio chat program. It also comes with iTunes, which can convert your CD's into MP3 files (a job that requires a $10 add-on in Windows XP's Media Player). And Expos is probably worth about $47.38 all by itself.
Finally, surely there's value in using an operating system that, well, isn't Windows.
jackass.

Jobs and Pogue - related ?
I come across one or two
people daily who criticize
the hell out of Apple.
Could do that better in windows
or they will be bankrupt in a
year or two - to why did you
waste your money on that
piece of *hit...
People with different beliefs are
hard to fathom sometimes -
don't you think Millennium ?
[edit] Pogue is a little bi'ass'ed
sometimes.
