I had a very enjoyable evening watching this movie tonight. It was very good, and the rotoscope stuff was just awesome. Don't watch it while eating 'shrooms though. I don't have much to say except you should go see it. RD Jr., Woody, Keanu, and Winona were all great.

Don't care to watch rich drug using actors tell us we should fear government. Celebrities feeding us their drug induced paranoia and dividing society even more. No thanks. Not even if the movie is good.

Isn't it just people sitting at tables spouting out conspiracy theories and paranoia? But pretty.

I didn't care for a waking life as it looked cool but the movie itself was crap.

waking life made me dizzy.

the review I read said that this movie is less shaky-cam, and the acting is great. Likely I'll have to rent it though.

K. I want to you burn your entire music collection. Why? Pretty much all those musicians were on drugs. Oh, and never visit a museum either.

That's just crack man. I would agree with you if any of those musicians weren't rich drug users telling us the government was lying about terrorism or the drug trade or if they were shoplifters saying security cameras are bad for society

How is it compared to the book?

"That doesn't matter. He believes in you."

-"I'm not agnostic. Just nonpartisan. Theological Switzerland, that's me."

I didn't read the book. There's a few reviews online making mention of the book though.

I have doubts that it will match the book with Keanu's shitastic way of acting as seen in his other flicks. Oh well, I guess I'll have to see it as well.

Do you know what "acting" means?

Hint: It's a job. Like janitor, manager, truck driver, musician, teacher, or pilot.

I bet you'd fly more, too, if you could be sure that them there pilots is righteous 'mericans.

The most important question: how is this movie to see while stoned?

I mean, you gotta do something to get over Keanu's acting, right?

My local artsy-fartsy cineplex is offering this or Strangers With Candy and it's hard to pick which one will be more "hit worthy".

It will cost less to rent Bill and Ted's and the entire Star Wars Sexology that is better than Scanner Darkly.

Does Sanner Darkly have an hour and forty minute pod race and Jar Jar Binx? Then it can't be worse than Episode I.

I think that'll be the winner.

I know when I saw Waking Life, I thought it would be worthy - but, sheesh, I fell asleep watching it.

THIS ISN'T WAKING LIFE. We need another movie-goer to see this flick, some of you are acting like this movie makes your hoohaa hurt.

I checked out the first 24 minutes of the movie on some website today and it seemed much more interesting than Waking Life. That suit thing he was wearing that made him look like different people was extremely trippy and whetted my appetite for what visual treats lay in store.

But, you know, even though it's not Waking Life - it's still a Linklater movie and I haven't liked anything he's ever done. Guilt by association.

... but the opinions and rights of drug takers can be trampled upon right?

Obi Wan's Ghost indeed... a very thin one...

Dazed and Confused is one of my favorite feel-good movies. And Before Sunrise and Before Sunset are awesome.

I watched this last week with my wife and we both enjoyed it. There are some confusing parts but after analyzing it, we figured them out.

Will definitely be buying the DVD.
