Just picked up an iMac and would like to purchase some educational titles for my kids (3,4,11). I was browsing the Apple software store but they have 0 educational games listed!

I can only imagine this is not being maintained by Apple. I had heard that it was transitioning to an online downloadable process, but where can I see the offerings? They do a good job on the App Store of showing me iPhone educational titles.

Have you tried the App Store? (Not the iPhone one) There are quite a few games in there. There is a whole section on educational games.

Yep, all of the educational titles that are available for download are in the App store, just like the iPhone one. I guess Apple is going discontinue that section of their website soon. Whatever happened to apple.com/games?

There are the traditional Reader Rabbit games which I think are still updated by the publisher... but a lot of the old games were never updated. we have old discs of Dr. Seuss, Pajama Sam, etc which we use on an old laptop.
