Hello, I work at a large research facility; we have about 500 Macs and about 600 PCs.
The network is split up into 7 AppleTalk zones. 6 of these zones are done by building where only Macs reside.
Generally speaking the Macs live on the 198 segment and the PCs on the 205- we have to Static address.
The 7th zone catches all the Mac clients who live amongst the PC users.
There is the background info.
We are getting ready to start supporting OSX, in checking it out we have one last problem before we OK it.
When I plug my computer into the 198(Mac) I can choose my AppleTalk zone in the network system preferences. However when I go to connect to server I never see any zones of any other computers on the network.
But when I plug into 205 (PC and one big AppleTalk zone) I can see every computer on the network, AppleTalk works flawlessly.
