Model: A1181

My cat was using the laptop while sipping her glass of milk, which she accidentally knocked over onto the keyboard.
I jumped in and disconnected the power cord and battery, let it dry out for 4 days, and turned it back on.
It turns on just fine, but it turns off after 3 minutes. So i turned it back on and it shut off shortly thereafter.
I noticed that the battery on the top bar, displays a X.
Im using another computer to write to you. Checked it out on apples website to see what the x meant, needed some battery update 1.2. but i checked my 2minute macbook, and it had 1.3.

I thought the spill might have messed up the battery, so i removed it and ran it on the charger. The macbook turned on just fine, like the previous times, but still shut off by itself. So i guess, BATTERY NOT AN ISSUE?!?!
I tried running on the battery, without the charger, and it gave me the same result!!!!

I waited another 3 days, without any use of the macbook, and i wondered what else it could be. So now I turn it on, log into my profile, wait 1 minute, close the lid, and see that the sleep light is on. the charger is currently displaying ORANGE (CHARGING) i close the lid again, for a few minutes, open it up again, listen to a song, close the lid, REPEAT CYCLE. lol. The great thing now is that it doesnt turn off on me.

I cant think of anything else.

Edit; (quick questions answered)

OK, well, you never know... What's most likely happened is that the milk residue is causing a short circuit somewhere. If you want to try, I would disassemble it, and gently clean it, first with compressed air and a small brush, and, if that does not work, with a lint free cloth and a little distilled (not normal) water. This is risky though, you might cause more harm than good if you're not careful.

Well it's liquid so it's all relevant. I'd dry it out for a three or four days more as there may still be some liquid in there.
