I just installed the update for Final Cut (1.2.1) on my G4. It said it needed the latest version of quicktime to run, so I used the quicktime updater. It said there was a new version, so it downloaded the current files and I restarted. Now every time I reboot, I get an alert that says "Some of the quicktime software failed to load because it is not up to date. This can be fixed by updating the components. 'choices' cancel-update now" I have updated four times and every time it says the same thing. I have no idea what the hell to do. Please help.

Jim

I finally found out what was happening. Somehow, one of my old extensions got renamed and was still trying to load. I have no idea how that happened, but oh well.
