Carcassonne in-app purchases bundled, OS X version coming
Revered board game
Carcassonne's developers TheCodingMonkeys are celebrating the fifth anniversary of the title on the iOS App Store. For a limited time, all seven expansions can be purchasable at once for $5 total. Purchased separately, the in-app purchases total $11.
Additionally, the company has also revealed that the game is coming to OS X. No firm release date or pricing has been made available, other than that it will see release in late 2015.
Blizzard MOBA sees light of day, open beta commences May 19
Blizzard's
Heroes of the Storm MOBA's open beta launches on May 19. The title, featuring 30 characters from across Blizzard's line of intellectual property, focuses on competitive ranked play, such as seen with
League of Legends, but also has features appealing to casual players.
The game will be free-to-play, with costs to unlock characters if the normal unlocking progression isn't followed. Minimum requirements are a Core 2 Duo with 4GB of RAM, 10GB of storage, and a GeForce GT330M or better. The beta at the moment is invite only. The full title will be available in June.
Kerbal Space Program to exit early access on April 27
After an extended public development cycle, humorous space program simulator
Kerbal Space Program will
hit version 1.0 on April 27. Development is not stopping, with new trailers of upcoming features every day until release of the 1.0 version.
The
$30 title requires OS X 10.6, an Intel processor, 3GB of RAM, and 512MB of VRAM.
