iMovie: Paste Over at Playhead is grayed out

	We are making a music video. We have a short video-only clip that we want to paste over the video portion of a larger music video clip. According to iMovie Help, that is easy: select the option in Preferences, and then copy the short clip, and then position the playhead where you want it to start in the larger clip, and then do "Paste Over at Playhead" from the Advanced menu. Sounds great! But no matter how I try to do this, that menu item is always grayed out. Any ideas why its grayed out? Thanks for any suggestions.
