IT'S STILL ON YOUR MONEY

Atheists Lose Battle To Have 'In God We Trust' Removed From U.S. Currency

But in dismissing the suit, U.S. District Judge Harold Baer, Jr., wrote that "the Supreme Court has repeatedly assumed the motto's secular purpose and effect," according to the Associated Press. Baer also ruled that the federal appeals courts "have found no constitutional violation in the motto's inclusion on currency," and that the placement of the phrase didn't constitute a "substantial burden" on atheists.
I have no idea what the secular purpose and effect is, but I also never cared enough that I wanted someone to sue.

Secular purpose: "If the government should fail to pay its debts, trust that God will take care of it."

Helps politicians get re-elected without raising taxes, cutting services, or balancing budgets. It's been helping them do this since debt ballooned during WWII. By my calculations, the phrase has made politicians jobs easier for 3/4 of a century and counting.

The Fed isn't part of the US government, essentially there's not a lot the USSC can do about the motto.
"Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it."

Also if you're really letting it bother you that much, you probably need to reexamine your priorities in life.

The problem is, those Atheists are always concerned with OTHER people's priorities, and wanting those changed.

That sounds like the "Center for Science in the Public Interest" AKA the food police. They ruined movie theater popcorn for the entire world.

And toilets. I will never forgive the bleeding heart hippies in California for convincing the EPA to force low-flow toilets on the rest of the country.
