Hi I'm jen and I just helped a switcher move over to mac with some tips and simple tricks. It was very rewarding for me, she said she doesn't know other people who are mac users. She felt like she was on her own and was lost.

So, to help other switchers, I have started a MacMentor Yahoo Group .

If you'd like to help switchers switch, or just chat mac, think about coming over and joiningMacMentor .

There doesn't seem to be any other place that does that, I'm just trying to get the word out the mac-elite.

to be honest...

i dont see a new mac switcher coming to macnn to say:

"what exactly are spring loaded folders?"

or

"where do i go to open applications?"

and etc

a mailing list type thing....a newbie can help other newbies and a moderator can chime in with new or correct info without the ire of normal macnn users calling them stupid

too many is never bad, someone asks a networking question i'm out of the conversation.

everyone has some specialty, and not everyone will answer - more is always the merrier.
