Yep, they're finally done. Pick them over at Xicons.com or go here, depending on the list at Xicons.

Here is a large JPEG of the set (117K).

Enjoy!

Damn you Mindfad, you are making Icons quicker that I can make places to use them.

You can get a red turtle-less shell from the first set I did, Sek. I'm not going to stick many of the old icons in so it leaves me more room for newer Super Mario stuff.

And all requests noted. I've been dying to make a Boo icon. You will get your Boo.

Maybe Racoon or Froggie Mario. I'll stick in as many characters as I can.And I'll get my damn web site up instead of using only Xicons. I hate how they change my default folder icon to the Xicons one. The folder is supposed to be an OS X folder with a Samus Symbol on it. I hope they left my custom Read Me alone, too.

Good ol' little bro.

25 icons on the list so far, two complete. I hope to have at least 35 for the final set, to keep with the other sets. Stick suggestions in this thread, I suppose, so I don't have to start a new one. Web site's finally up. Yay. I wish I got paid to do this stuff. More updates sometime soon.

I figured they'd go nicely with Dace's new Pride theme (see OSX-Software Forum)

Someone order a Boo? There will also be a Boo that is hiding its face and being shy, just like the games. I just used CandyBar to make my trash can a boo icon. Shy when empty, angry when full. It looks great.

Here's how the Trash looks. Feel free to steal the GIF.

After seeing John wants screens:

I'll take a picture of my Dock, fine. Dock pr0n.

Here, I'll magnify the damn thing.
Empty = shy. Full = angry.

Boo debuted in Mario 3, I believe. Hmm, I'm not sure what items from the game I could stick in the set. Any suggestions? The leaf that turned you into racoon Mario? Maybe. Damn, this set is going to have 35 icons easy.

I was over at a friends girlfriends college apartment this weekend and played some Super Mario 2 on the original NES...

Think we'll see icons from 2? Like racoon Mario or whatever you turned into after snaggin' the leaf.

Oh yes. Racoon Mario is actually Mario 3, and I plan on including the leaf that turned you into the Racoon. Uh, things from Mario 2 so far are the Birdo above, the vegetable, and Shy Guy. Oh, and Wart -- the final toad boss at the end of the game. So plenty of Mario 2 stuff. Here's my completed list of icons so far (I have all this stuff written down on my desk, hehe, so I can keep track):

Mario, Luigi, Piranha Plant, Pipe, Angry Boo, Shy Boo, Yoshi Egg, Feather (SNES Mario World), Fire Flower, Birdo, Read Mushroom, Green Mushroom, Bob-omb, Green Shell, Red Shell, Goomba, Shy Guym Starman, and Vegetable. Oh, and the Shine Sprite.

Things not completed are below (and still questionable as to whether they will be made or not):

Peach, Toad, Bowser, Wario, Waluigi, Wart, Yoshi, Koopa Troopa, Koopa Troopa (wings), Hammer Brother, Leaf.

Still may be added to this unfinished list. I'm shooting for 35 icons. Stay tuned, of course.

Man, these characters are hard as hell to fit and draw into 128x128. It looks kinda like her at least, right? Shine Sprite is my favorite so far, I think. It's perdy.

i'm gonna buy you a clock with 15 hours, instead of 12. you need more hours in the day, let's face facts here

Dude, Phil, I'm making them right now. After looking through my folder of 33 NSFG picture, and testing out how they might look at 128x128, I'm going for it (they will look best at 128x128, o' course). I'll stick on my web site, but I don't know about submitting those to Xicons.

You convinced me, Phil. Where's my 15-hour clock?

Behold. Though the ... "blurring" ... gets a little undone as the icon gets smaller, it looks fine at 128x128. Yay. I'll make a few more and post the set for everyone soon. But especially Phil.

Where's a "Philzilla" picture so I can make a NSFG V. Philzilla desktop? Man, I think I'll even make me a NSFG desktop. I can stick NSFG on Apple's ol' "Aqua Graphite" default background. Hmm....

And that cloxk ... is he pointing to 12 minutes past 13 o'clock?
