I have a couple of old iMacs, that I don't own, that are crunching Seti@home data 24 hours on my account. I have 800 or so packets done. Can I join your Team and add my statistics to your team, or do you prefer to have just fast computers? Mine can work 24 hours a day.

of course we prefer to have fast machines! but that definitly doesn't mean we don't want the slower ones too. every little bit helps, and it all adds up in the end.

this team isn't about turning people away

Ok I just joined your team. My username is flynnsteve. I have 886 units currently and I add something like 2 or 3 every day. I have a 1ghz eMac that crunches units 24hrs a day, along with two 333mhz Rev D iMacs.

So do I add all of my units to your Team or is it just from now on that I am adding units?

Well, its been awhile, but I think with Classic SETI, all your points follow you to the new team. Not certain about that though. The team will definitely get any new points you crunch though. With SETI on BOINC, only the new points come to the team. Still it is all appreciated.

And jbcool is right, we like all computers, but especially Macs.

My school has a lab of 20 PCs, all of them like 2 Ghz and they are just sitting there on, doing nothing. I wish I could convince the admin to let me install Seti@home (under my name) on all of them, but that just ain't gonna happen
