What kind of game? All of Ambrosiasw.com 's games that run native work fine on mine. I have problems running stuff from Blizzard, have not tried much else.

Well... I don't know what kind of games you like, but I have the same ibook and lately i've been playing Payback on it... it runs fine even at 1024X768. You can get it at www.freeverse.com

World of Warcraft (Whisperwind - Alliance) <The Eternal Spiral>

pop-pop is pretty darned addictive. It's like Brickles on steroids (uh-oh, did I just betray my age? Good old internet...only place where 21 starts to seem relatively old).

Simon Extreme

GLtron

ScummVM (OS X emulator of the old Lucas Arts text adventures, you need the original CDs to play)

Marble Blast

iConquer

These are all free games, for commercial titles get Deus Ex (even though its for OS9, you must have it!), Fallout 2 and =Freedom Force are great too! I could go on and on, but I won't.

Indeed ScummVM rules. All you need to do is pick up the recent Lucasarts graphic adventures rerelease (the PC-CD version).

If you need any help setting it up I'll give you a hand.

Yeah, both Fallout & Fallout 2 are damned cool RPGs, and should work fine on your iBook 500. I have a Pismo 500 and having Fallout on the go has made traveling a lot more fun

As was mentioned, all the Ambrosia games will work great. I can't wait for Uplink to be released...
Is this rock and roll, or
a form of state control?

Starcraft also runs fine, which is of course, one of the all time popular games, and still played by many.

Just for fun I installed WarCraft III on my iBook 500. It was like watching a poodle pull a covered wagon. Took awhile just to get it to acknowledge keyboard inputs to quit. Hehe.

On my iBook 500 I have Oni, Black and White, the Sims and am going to get Aliens verses Predator Gold. I realise these aren't 'lite', but they run well.
