Ever notice how much better column view looks when the icons are larger like that? I do wish there were a way to change the icon size (but not the text size as well) to have it so that all columns looked like that.

i think the theme is in the user mods section of max's forums. www.maxthemes.com
EDIT: yup. here
and the icons are that big when there is room to spare in the finder window. go in column view and click on "computer" and take a look for yourself.

I believe Spaztik created this.
Search MacNN threads for Aluminum Alloy and it will show up - I downloaded it off a link on this forum.

Some interesting snaps out there...
LadyBlue: Might want to turn off show borders in Adium preferences for a nicer effect. I dont know if you already know this, but I really like the way it looks without borders. The preference is located in Advanced>Contact List>Display Preferences. Nice desktop image
heidilux: Ok, I thought widgets were for the title bar of windows; the close, minimize, and maximize ones. Can someone please clear this up for me.
DanTM: Hey, if you were browsing around the User Modded Section in Max's forums did you by any chance see my mod of Milk? If so what did you think of it?
mac15: Ya, on Digital Ramen (wibs's site) I noticed that he was working on a Classix 10K port with you and cmove. Now I have no idea what Classix 10K is but it sounds spiffy.

I use a replacement clock program called iClock. Search for it on Versiontracker.com

iClock is the ugliest $20 GUI app I've seen
in a long time. Try the freeware WClock.
http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/7766
If all you want is more date options and
not a plethora of badly made/half-assed
apps this is the one, now PTH has gone
commercial and made an app that replaces
his excellent menubar apps with a single
one that costs a colossal fifty bucks...
I would suggest WClock.

jason- it is either Another Launcher or Butler, available here. Best freeware (well, donationware) app ever. I couldn't live without it. It can be either a docklet or in the menubar, and it also can perform as iTuens HotKeys/ menubar controls and tons of other things. I am still on Another Launcher because there are some things in Butler that bug me, but just check out both and decide for yourself.

haley,
Thanks. I had a feeling it was going to be Another Launcher/Butler. I'm in love with LaunchBar, but now I'm tempted to give Mauer's app a try.
Thanks,
Jason

The Passion Of The Christ is a movie i will never forget. I have seen other movies about the life and Crucifing of my Lord. However this movie touched me in a way as if i was there to see it for real. I have to say my faith in Christ is deepened as a result. Thank you and God Bless you Mel Gibson

Makki, did you find that that movie was anti-semetic in any way? There has been a lot of talk about how it might make some feel like the Jews along with the Romans crucified Jesus. I probably wont see it and I was just wondering...

I have to honestly say NO the movie is not anti-semetic in any way and i dont say that because i like the movie but rather because i have jewish in my extended family and i know what it is to fight anti-semetism
The movie shows the religous of the time as being against Christ for His teaching was contrary to the Torah. Which if we were threaened in our ways or beliefs in life would probly also be upset the same way the religous were bak then.
BUT for being in anyway anti-semetic the answer is NO. Niether Jew or Roman put Him on the Tree. He laid it down and took it up again all on his own.
Now before i get in trouble i better close this post
Nice desktops everyone hehe.
Makki

Running 10.3.2, 1.25 Albook, 1 GB of RAM.
What's weird is the crash log is totally empty. No information at all.
I posted in the developer's forums, hopefully he/she will be able to enlighten me. Truth be told, i've been using the 'trial version' of launch bar for about 6 months, so something free instead would be great.

If you havent tried it already, trash the prefs. It usually helps me when I have problems with apps that should be stable.
