One of a kind, custom black and transparent G3. Professionally painted.
400mhz (stock, not over clocked)
896mb ram
30gb hard drive
CDRW
Zip drive
OS X Jaguar and OS 9.2.4 installed

I would love to keep it but I am a poor college student and I need to pay some bills.
Respond back or email me with an offer..
More pics are available at request.

Next week I am going to put this computer on ebay but I thought I would put it up here first to see if anyone was interested in giving it a nice new home.

1024X768 or higher is fine, just so I can see the details.
Front straight on, front angled, side. If you painted the back, back would be cool too.

I did some research on prices:
B&W G3 400 stock: 64-128mb ram, 6-9gb hd, cd drive
everymac.com $550-600
macofalltrades.com $400-500
ebay- $400+
powermax.com- $480

So add on almost a gig of ram, 30 gb hard drive and a CD RW drive..not to mention a sexy black paint job all for..
$600 shipped

I would like a little bit more.. it will cost 50 to ship alone and regular g3 400 towers with 128 ram and 6gb HD's w/out cdrws go for 400 or more..

and I mean come on.... have you ever seen a black and clear G3??

This is going to ebay in the next couple days if no one is interested.

Anyone interested send me an email with an offer and we'll talk. I have to sell it to put money towards the quicksilver I just purchased.

Why bother making irrelevant comments? If you were interested it would be one thing.

You'll have to ebay it, pardon for saying so, but you're asking a bit much to try and sell it on a forum like this.

I think his asking price is well within range. I think you people want the best cutsom stuff at less than the stock look. That's wrong.

G4s are going for $400 on eBay - why buy an older G3 for more money? CDRWs are $20 these days; RAM's dirt cheap too.

I just sold a G3 B&W 450 with 640MB and a 40G HDD locally - I got $450, which was a fantastic price. eBay would not have given me close to that.

okay sorry for any inconveniences here.. I just thought I would put it up here in the forum first, since I visit here daily..
It seems that everyone insists on posting negative replies that are useless to the original poster.
In this case if you aren't interested in the computer don't bother posting.
For those who defended my price or said it was cool.. thanks.

I am serious.

but I can buy a 533 MHz G4 with a cdr and 112ram and 40gig HD for 600 bucks

Your custom paintjob actually decreases the value of the cpu.

The offer of 450 stands. Let me know.
