Greetings everybody,

As you have probably noticed, we have often had downtimes. This was because it was so hard to keep this site up!
But now we are sorry to inform you all, that ******** is closing down for good in the way that we all know it.
We do not know if ******** is going to return, but it is certainly not going to be hosting any more torrent links.
We are very sorry for this, but there was no other way, we have tried everything.

Thank you all that helped us, by donating mirrors or something else, by uploading and seeding files, by helping people out on IRC and on forum, by spreading the word about ********.org.
It is a sad day for all of us!

Please visit ********.org every once in a while to get the latest news on what is happening and if there is anything new to report on.

As we wish to maintain the nice comunity that we created, we are keppig forums and irc servers open.

Thank you all and Goodbye!
sloncek & the rest of the ******** Team

Pretty crappy they've gone, you could find some really obscure movies on there, especially Asian ones.

I thought they were even creating their own Torrent software?

And it is totally retarded the way Supernova is censored around here.

The other torrent sites are ok, but Supernova had the best stuff, always good turn around of material, plus the categorie search was excellent.

Yeah, the supernova censorship thing is daft.

tvtorrents was just working the other day. At least, the net version. com has been down a while. Now it's a redirect. Weird. demonoid still works though.

Don't be silly. Something else will replace Bittorrent eventually.

You guys do realize that ********.org was only a MIRROR. The other ones are still online and are working. I'm staring at another mirror right now. visually the site is a bit different but the torrents are identical / same listing

It's not stealing.

It is however violating a law (copyright) which is a sin.

What's a good one to start out with? I've not done it before but I'd like to be able to watch shows when travelling without having to wait and but the entire season on DVD.

same, and id on't want to buy a 50 dollar box set if i only like to rewatch one or two episodes. and with movies if i download it and don't buy it, i wouldn't have boughten it anyway so they aren't losing any money from me.

Where the hell do I get my Joey episodes now, TorrentBits and ******** have now both disappeared in one day.

Someone on /. came up with a theory that this closure could be a publicity stunt, and they will return when Exeem is released.

A sad day....

I usually leave the IRC alone except when I need to find incredibly rare or obscure stuff.

Everything is on the IRC. It has never failed me. It is a lot more difficult to find things there though. It takes time and research. It's the human contact that gives IRC its immense depth. You have to chat a bit to find things.

BitTorrent is neat for the new and big stuff IMO. DVD rips, huge audiobook collections - in fact everything bigger than a GB is what BitTorrent is good for. The old (as in good) stuff sometimes creeps in but completely at random like the rest of the stuff available on the trackers.

To be a pirate on the seas of the net you have to wield the IRC sword, the BT cannons, the Newsgroup navigation and the FTP treasure maps. Arr.
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.
