I use my own picture for my account picture. When I upgraded to Tiger, I noticed that the picture is more pixilated than before. I've even tried resizing the picture so that the system doesn't have to resize it, but the problem persists. It's not a big problem, but it's an annoyance.
Does anyone else have this problem? Can it be solved?

I do not, and I've changed the picture a few times.
Does it happen with every (custom) user picture, or just this one in particular?

I just tried several different images....same problem. I'll try playing around with different image formats now...

I tried every image format savable in Photoshop with no availe. I then dragged a tiff format into Library->User Pictures->Animals. Voila!
I still can't figure out what went wrong before. Thanks, Cadaver, for your help.

Glad I could help someone on these forums! Usually I'm the one asking all the questions.
