Wait, it's $500 AND you have to build it? Why should it be so expensive?

That thing is huge, what the hell do you do with it once it is put together? Let a star destroyer nuke it and do it all again?

Because nothing screams class or sophistication like a big lego version of star wars geekdom. It'll definitely get the ladies hot once you show them this.

Pfft. I'm waiting for the scale Super Star Destroyer. It'd be 1,281 feet long.

You're implying that someone who would lust over a giant toy like this was getting sex to begin with or would want anything other than this toy in the bed with them anyway.

Don't get me wrong I am sure it would be a blast to build but after what the hell do you do with it? When I was a kid and got Lego I loved putting it together but playing with it sucked as everything was blocky, sharp, creaky and came apart easily. I was never into seeing what other creations I could make with a preset design.

Not that it does you any favors, however.

You put it a the bottom of the garden, then hang out your bedroom window with a scoped-up air rifle and see if you can hit Chewie.

I think it looks great and if I had 500 bucks buning a hole in my pocket, I would buy one. My daughter and I would have a blast putting it together and then we could hang it from the ceiling in her room..

She's a big Star Wars fan at teh ripe age of 6.

I'll admit that I would love to build this, just for fun. But $500? I would never pay it, and when I was done with it... well I guess I would have to mount it to the wall inbetween my samurai sword and my Secret Garden poster.

I remember building this about 10 years ago:

That's almost 2 1/2 miles long. That's scale to LEGO size. They're normally 15 kilometers long.

I'd only spend $500 on a Lego set if it were of the Death Star and it was to scale with that Falcon.

I had to re-read this one, the first time I started to get excited.
Being in debt and celebrating a lower deficit is like being on a diet and celebrating the fact you gained two pounds this week instead of five.

Oh my yes. As long as they are not TOO wide to fit in my…um…display.
