A white version of the
Google Nexus 4 smartphone could be released in the next month. A rumor suggests the white mobile device will become available through Google Play on the 10th of June, and will be accompanied by the release of the next iteration of the Android mobile operating system, version 4.3.
It is claimed
by Android and Me that the blog got hold of the white Nexus 4, and while the outside has received a dramatic change of color from the black original, the rest of the phone remains exactly the same. The internal specifications and overall appearance of the Nexus 4 is apparently identical, except that it will be loaded with Android 4.3 instead of Android 4.2. It is said to be priced at $299.
Android 4.2 is still expected to be revealed at the
Google I/O developer conference, despite not being mentioned during the keynote address. Though there has yet to be a formal announcement of the updated OS, it has already been revealed that Android will include native support for
Bluetooth Smart Ready and Bluetooth Smart devices. Sources of the report claim that the Android 4.3 unveiling was pulled from the show for a later reveal, in order to demonstrate Google's ability to update services and
APIs without needing to upgrade Android itself.
