Is this even possible ? I have an external harddrive, but Parallels don't see it. There is a possibility of a "Shared Folder" in Parallels, and I tried moving files there... but can't find them anywhere in Windows XP.

Im a bit clueless what to do. I don't want to burn a disk everytime I have a couple of files I want to move from Mac OS X to XP or the otherway around.

I did try searching on Parallels Forum and in here, but no good.

Hope someone can enlighten me a bit and perhaps others with the same question

Thanks in advance.

open parallels, choose 'edit' on your xp system, and then add a shared folder on your local internal mac os drive. You can drop files here on either system for access from the other. I haven't tried it with a shared folder located on an external drive.

Where do you click on the Windows XP to get to the folder ? I get no new folders, and if I try to search for the items I have dropped in the "Shared Folder" nothing happens. I have good access to the internet from both etc via. Shared Networking.

I will troubleshoot some more, perhaps I did something wrong somewhere.

Thanks though!

In windows xp, assuming you've installed Parallels Tools, there should be a shortcut folder on XP's desktop called 'Parallels Shared Folders'
