I just installed linux on my mac. Is there any way to get to or use files from one OS in the other? I'm using Mandrake 9.1

Thanks for any assistance.

i belive so but i think you will have to recompile your kernel and make sure that some of the apple features in the kernel are enabled. i think there is one for appletalk and possibly something for supporting hfs which i would assume you would need in order to see the mac partition(s).

If your Linux partitions are ext2 formatted, you should be able to use Ext2 Filesystem in order to access them from within Mac OS X.
