Since, like 10.2.5, it was SUPPOSED to speed up games, what have y'all experienced? I'm updating as we speak and will post my results later.
I'm hoping primarily for improvements in WarCraft III and Shadowbane.

I did the same thing for 10.2.5, and many forum regulars posted results. It's a community thing
We all know that 10.3 is where the real improvement lies.

The speed improvement in 10.3 will mainly be in the multi-threaded Finder. This should be similar to the transformation that Finder made between Mac OS 8.6 and 9.0. Will it be a real speed improvement or a perceived speed improvement as it was with 9.0?
I did notice something with 10.2.6: Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force Expansion Pack has improved cut scenes and other 3D items such as some of the characters after cut scenes where the patterns made them look as though they were wearing pajamas.
It would seem that Apple has more work to do before this is completely cleared up. Has anyone else noticed similar things with the Carbon-ised version of Bink?

Latest drivers from Nvidia and ATI. They may be around 200-300MB. It's too large to put in 10.x.x update. OpenGL 2.0 is almost done and may be included in 10.3. It's a major update to OpenGL and feature huge speed improvements
Also, since 10.3 will include 64-bit support, ATI and Nvidia will have to update their drivers to support it. Think: Quartz Extremest

Sadly, I've noticed no real appreciable improvement in anything...
Think we'll finally see UT2003, though? I heard that they were waiting for this patch to release the demo.

That 20-30MB is mainly a bugfixes, not including new features.

We have an flat screen iMac (first issue not latest) and we're running 10.2.5.
My son wont play ONI in OSX "it just wont run properly" he says. We have the ONI OSX patch but he play it in OS9.
I find MOHAA sticky in OSX and prone to lock up. I also prefer OS9 for this game.
Rainbow Six is fine as is Unreal Tournament but Ghost Reccon can be awful. In the big patterns it slows down and becomes unplayable after a time. Yet sometimes, if you save at a slowed up point, the game frees up.
I'm not sold on OSX for gaming.
