buff with steel wool before waxing. don't use the kind that has soap built in. then go over it with some mop n' glow. pray constantly while buffing and waxing. pray for juliana hatfield. have a blessed day. hallelujah!

disguise the scratches. i assume you have a white macbook as anything with a high gloss finish will refelect any small scratches very noticibly. smear white lithium grease all over the macbook and the scratches will no longer be noticeable. be very careful when picking up the computer as it will now be very slippery. also be careful not to get any grease in juliana's eyes.

conclusion: ever since apple introduced the g3 ibooks they have made the cases out of some material which they claim is harder than hell but scratches like crazy. personally i believe the scratches come from putting the computers in laptop cases, but i have no proof. my best advice is to learn to live with it as we all do.

My old iBook (the white variety) has scratches all over it... I just lived with it as it seemed to be a normal occurance due to the plastic... All be it for all I know it could come off...

I ended up getting a black macbook, with which the only problem seems to be that it ends up with greasy finger prints all over it...
