seriously, this is aggravating the crap out of me. leopard will load on all of my other macs except my macbook pro.

i've tested the macbooks optical drive and it will load the original tiger instal disk, dvd disks, cd disks, everything but the stupid leopard disk.

i dont know whats going on. some people have suggested

1. buying a lens cleaner
2. cloning the disk onto another disk then installing
3. using target disk mode with another leopard computer

whats my best option here?

Target disk mode.
