hi all. so i spilled some coffee on my macbook a while back. not much and i dried it quickly. while it freaked out and wouldn't go into standby when closing it for a while.... and it seems to run hot ever since.... it seems to *mostly* run normal now.... except that the forward right arrow key (to move the cursor to the right for example) no longer works.

is it reasonable for me to remove the key and clean the connection so that it starts working again? i actually use those keys a lot. i don't have applecare on this machine anymore so no free repairs for me

anyway, any help is appreciated. thanks.

Here is a picture for you. Take a small flat machine screwdriver and go from the front. You will then twist the screwdriver until it pops at the corner...

How in the heck do you replace a key when the little white plastic part that the picture shows already in place has also come loose?

I've been trying for a while now and I can't see exactly how it goes on.
