I currently am using the Safari 3.1
The biggest problem is that alot of web - sites do not welcome Safari yet , before I could put up with it , but now its getting to be a pain. I was thinking of going to Firefox or one of the others. Any Advice guys?

Thanks

Almost always this is just a user agent issue.

In Safari 3.1, open Preferences, then Advanced, then check 'Show Develop menu in menu bar'.

Now click the Develop menu, scroll to User Agent, and choose something like IE 6 or Firefox 2.x before you visit a problematic site. Also, it's a good idea to clear that site's cookies before visiting. With site's cookies cleared and a different user agent selected, go to the site and see if it works.

If that fails, Firefox or… Camino. For some weird reason Firefox has always been slower than Camino on my Mac.

Me too, but the Firefox beta 3 series has fixed that.

My advice is go to Firefox.

Yes, it probably takes some number of milliseconds longer to render a page (improving with Firefox 3), but the feature set and compatibility are worth it.

I say go to Omniweb. You can specify on a site by site basis, what browser you are going to pretend to be...And it is a great browser on top of that...
