Hello all,

I am a novice theme tinkerer attempting a very minor tweak to my favorite theme. All I wish to do is change the Finder sidebar color.

I was able to accomplish this. My procedure was using ThemePark, installing the theme I wanted to modify and then choosing Merge with Installed Elements. But in the new guikit I made which otherwise looked right and had the modification I wanted, all the application skins were missing.

Clearly my procedure did not copy over the application skins. Yet, that's the only way I know of to modify an existing theme, since I cannot import guikits directly into ThemePark and guikitty hangs when trying to decompile guikits.

Can anyone tell me how to do this modification without losing the application skins?

Thanks in advance.

Respectfully,
JNG

Reload the theme you're trying to mod, log out/in, then open the themepark file you created and go to elements>application skins and add all of the app skins that you need. Then go back to elements and highlight "application skins", and go theme>merge with installed elements. Save, export to guiKit, apply.
