Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

If it's the same guy who's spamming and cross-posting, I usually just report the first one I find and say "This is spam, and so are all his other posts", although I confess sometimes I'm more eloquent. Spam is the only thing I've ever taken the time to report, since it is pure evil on a pogo stick.

Yeah, I usually just say something like "This guy is a spammer. Please kill him." Never noticed there was a delay for reporting.

If it's the same user, you can just report one of his posts. The mods or admins will then also delete them all. I wound up reporting a bunch from the same guy one time, and that's when one of them told me about that.

When coming across a spammer who is barraging, you need only report one of the posts. Our common practice is to ban the user once they've been reported, then do a post search and delete everything that comes up.

More over, we now have a system in place that allows any active moderator to see any reported post notification, regardless of what forum it was reported in.

So, like I said, you needn't work any harder than reporting one of the posts.
