The format, really. It's a box 12" tall and half an inch thick, four vinyl discs in simple black inner sleeves. They slide out to the right, and there's a simple black cardboard spacer stuck in there, with the Aphex logo cut out of it.
It's really, really pretty in that format.
I really hate CDs, and the fact that almost any attempt at cover "art" is completely pointless at that size, or because it's stuck inside the same stupid cheap plastic jewel case as every other CD is a big part of it.

That's cute. But "Stand Up" is most impressive at its full 12 intended inches.

"thick as a brick" is much easier to read too.

Do they print it on real news-paper like the original vinyl pressing of "Brick"?

Killer. I'm suddenly reminded of Cheech & Chong's Big Bambu.

As much as I hate Tool, I do like their 10 000 days cover.

Mighty Baby, an old fav of mine.
And I can't believe that none of you pervs mentioned Blind Faith:
The original cover did not have that gauzy section.

This you mean?
I hate "Deluxe editions", always ruins the original art. Like Weezers Blue Album. This one seems to have done it on purpose though

it appears to be a perfect replica, albeit much smaller.

^Back in the day, I liked that one enough to do a mural of it on my fridge.
^Painted a copy of that once, for a friend.
^Hmm. My current fridge is looking kinda blank.
