While watching Superman Returns with someone:

"This reminds me of the plot in Superman IV with Richard Pryor where he wanted to blow up California"

Ok, Richard Pryor was in Superman III and probably didn't want to blow up California...
...but what's error #3?

There's no full stop after California?

That he was referencing Pryor as the person who wanted to blow up California.

I don't know very much about the Superman movies!
If someone wanted to blow up California in Superman IV then we only have 1 error in the above sentence!
So I assume that even in Superman IV no one wanted to blow up California, right?

OK...

"How to be wrong 3x in one sentence"

"3" should be rendered as "three".
"x" should be rendered as "times".
And there should be a full stop at the end of it.

There ya go.

That wasn't the plot of IV.

Maybe the mistake was thinking that IV actually had a plot?
MI5 doesn't do evil. Just treachery, treason and armageddon.
