Guess that they don't have TV.

Do you get a tax break if you have loads of kids in the US?

Back in Nazi Germany the local Gauleiter got you the so called "Rabbit Medals" for these kind of breeding. Of course back then and there more children would be encouraged for other purposes much unlike in the land of the free today, wouldn't it?

Should I know, or care for that matter, who these people are?
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

Having read your location, I would have thought that they were personal friends of yours.

These people are part of what's wrong with the world today, especially in the U.S.

No, thinking that there's something "magical" about having so many children. Unfortunately, the seedier side of the U.S. thinks that having a gaggle of children is the way to easy street via living off my tax dollars.

Do they really believe that? I just thought they shunned birth control and somehow 18 kids wasn't enough motivation for them to quit ****ing.

After child one, they said that they want to "receive all the gifts God gives" them.

I have to say, I admire the way they manage their money soundly, living debt-free. A lot of Americans could stand to learn a thing or two from them. Two. Not nineteen.

If you're in a certain tax bracket, you can get a few hundred dollars per child in government assistance. That's why there are quite a few "poor" people with 12 kids that have no trouble buying cigarettes and 6' lifted pickup trucks.

It's a vagina, madame, not a clown car.

Why so negative ?

This family keeps the Social Security Ponzi scheme dream alive.

Any thrift tips you could get from them are offset by the fact that they are making lotsa money on teevee now. They got a new house from the tv deal.

turtle: if you really think that SS is a Ponzi scheme, why don't you substantiate your claims to the SS thread where several have made the case that it isn't?

Turtle: no response from you beyond this point: http://forums.macnn.com/95/political...y/#post3876598 If you really want to make this argument I would suggest moving the conservation to this thread so that we don't explode heads here.

I'd love to see this happen:

Of course you would.

In the year 2040, 1 in 2 viewers of "180,000 and Counting" will be a Dugger.
