I need to go out and buy a Non-Apple 22" monitor today. I see most of these say Vista ready and or include driver software. Do I need to look for a monitor that supports Macs or are they compatable as long as they have a DVI connection? Also, will I have to install drivers or does the MacPro auto config these monitors... LG, Dell, Samsung etc.?

No, they'll just work, as long as they have a DVI in.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
