Silver looks awesome! I love the teal color of the buttons!

Creative criticism: The overall gray color of the silver theme should be darker, the buttons stick out like soar thumbs otherwise.

i noticed that 3rd version of it too, after watching the preview animation for a while. wonder if its a sneak peak at an up coming new version or maybe just an error in the animation.

i didn't care for this theme when it was first released, but that new color variant is sweet.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news. All that "Third" version is is a tween/transition state from the animation
Michael: Hasn't everything been sort of discovered now by like Magellan and Cortez?

Buster: Oh, yeah yeah, those guys did a pretty good job.

I love the gold version of pulsar...
something a little different from the other themes I use. Does anyone know how to change the skin of iTunes easily to match the Finder windows? I think the brushed silver looks a little funny with the gold. I like the way the buttons have been changed, but it seems like it should be easy to continue the them throughout iTunes...

Beautiful and usable like his other themes. The iTunes skin for the gold variation definately seems incomplete tho. Only the buttons and scroll bars are correct.

As I said earlier, this is a great theme and I especially like the silver version. Just some minor issues I noticed with black text not being readable in menu buttons e.g. Thunderbird and e-mail addresses in Entourage. I'm sure Daisuke will correct that. The man knows his stuff.....

Scrollbar arrows in the silver version still glow red when clicked, instead of the teal color it should be, but other than that it looks great.

Like I said it looks great, but look at iTunes... blah... Can someone please fix this?

iTunes - Eye Sore

Also, here is a desktop to go along with it. I only have it in 1680 x 1050, but if someone wants it in something else, just let me know...

Red Apple Soft

Red Apple Hard

Thanks for the help.

I love this theme....but anybody know which resource I would edit to fix the "shadow" surrounding the pulsing "okay" buttons??? Try applying another theme when pulsar is active, and note the "okay" button in the SS pref pane. I went through and didn't see any shadows on the elements, though....and the click masks are all sized correctly.

It's not a shadow but an optical illusion due to the pulsing....

lol....no, the buttons rounded, the shadow is square, and spreads out waaaay to far. it's not an illusion. I guess "shadow" isn't the right description....perhaps a couple hundred stray pixels would better describe it. Please try what I described above...maybe it's a glitch with my system, but other themes don't exhibit this.

i love dsky's siro and i love pulsar. unfortunately, i think pulsar's safari and finder buttons are a too chunky, and the dock skins are poor.
